On A Bad Date? Go To Hooters And Order An Angel Shot | Anastasia Date

On A Bad Date? Something Called Angel Shot Will Save You

Encountering a bad date now and then is pretty common. That’s why most of us have already mastered the art of escaping said bad dates. We come up with the silliest of excuses like, “my pet’s in the hospital”, “I have a doctor’s appointment tomorrow so I have to go home early” and, the classic, “there’s an emergency I have to attend to”. We’ve been there before, and it seems like the crew at Hooters has too.

Order The Angel Shot At Hooters To Escape Your Bad Date

Before, we only wished that someone could have bailed us out of a bad date we went through, but now, we don’t have to wish for it because Hooters has made it happen. Fox 4 News reports that an internet user posted a picture of instructions he found just outside the bathroom in Hooters Africa last January 11. It reads:

Are You On A Date That Isn’t Going Well?

Is your Tinder or Plenty of Fish date not who they said they were on their profile?

Do you feel unsafe, or just even a bit weird?

We’re here to help. Just go to the bar and order an Angel Shot.

The post quickly got a lot of attention from other internet users, and it has, since, been shared 490,459 times to date. It is amazing. Both the idea and the PR stunt (if we ignore the fact internet ruined it since now everybody, including your bad date, knows about it).

Safety During Dates

The best thing about these instructions is that it’s not just for a bad date. This secret code is also for those on a  date who do not feel comfortable or safe. If you feel that you are not safe, you can order an angel shot with lime at the bar, and the bartender will call the police discreetly.

Where It Started

According to the Business Insider, the “concept seemed to have originated at Iberian Rooster, located in St. Petersburg, Florida.” The trend has also seemed to have caught on with several restaurants posting a message similar or almost identical to the one found in Hooters Africa.

Hopefully, this year, we will see more restaurants and bars adopting this practice to make their patrons safe. We have more interesting posts about dating on our blog so make sure you check those out.
