Every couple experiences relationship struggles. No matter how short or how long you have been dating, there will be misunderstandings and problems that you both will encounter.
These Relationship Struggles Are Normal For Couples To Go Through
You are not alone in your relationship struggles. All couples go through them. The good news is that the more you talk about them, the easier they become. You also get to find solutions to your problems and grow as a couple. Going through rough patches is nothing to be ashamed about. If you are going through the following relationship struggles, it is normal:
1. Favorite TV Shows
Sometimes, we love the person so much but we realize that there are some things that we cannot understand about him or her. One of it is his or her favorite TV shows. That kind of squabble is fine. You can both discuss these things and find a common ground. Or, just get two TVs. After all, when we love a person, we love everything about them even when you absolutely dislike the TV show they are watching.
2. Having Different Communication Needs
The woman usually likes to talk while the man likes to snuggle after a long day. Men and women are wired differently, but it doesn’t mean that we cannot compromise and have a meaningful discussion about the day’s events before you retire for the night. Again, find a point of compromise – talk a little and then snuggle afterward.
3. Dry Spell Struggle
All couples experience a dry spell in their relationship, don’t be embarrassed to talk about it with your partner. Definitely, he or she understands that you both have physical needs. Who knows, talking about it might just set the mood for you both.
Relationship struggles, no matter how big or small, will always be there. They will be part of your relationship until you reach 90 years old. Before a relationship starts, even if you are picky about who you want to date, relationship struggles are inevitable. It is just a matter of talking it out without getting emotional and coming up with a solid resolution. For more tips on making relationships stronger, read other posts from the blog.
